If you are looking at the constant stream of news from our current provincial government in Alberta, asking yourself: what can I do? Will it make a difference? You are an activist. The next step to becoming an active activist is to be part of building strong local networks of like-minded activists.
We have made this simple - you can join one of our fireside conversations and connect with individuals in your own neighborhood who also are ready for action.

Working together amplifies our collective voices and amplifies the impact of our collective actions.
Focus locally; get to know your regional Member of the Legislative Assembly. Organizing with other constituents about issues that are important to you means that your MLA will hear you.
Make clear demands. Publicly celebrate them when they follow through and publicly hold them accountable when they don’t.
The Premier of Alberta is accountable to the 2.2 million eligible voters. Your MLA is accountable to about 30,000 individuals in your community. The math is simple, your MLA will be more responsive to your interests and can bring them to the attention of the rest of the Assembly and the Premier.
Regardless of your MLA’s party affiliation, they are your representative in the provincial government; make sure they are representing!
